Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms are the agreement between you and Copium Labs Ltd for using Ube: this website, the app at https://app.ube.digital and the API at https://api.ube.digital. By signing in, approving an agent or paying, you accept them.
If you accept these terms for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it, and "you" means that organization.
The short version
- Starter costs $30 a month and includes $30 of credits. Pro costs $100 a month and includes $100 of credits. Enterprise plans are set by contract.
- Starter and Pro start with a 7-day free trial that includes $5 of credit. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
- Each answer is charged from your credits. Plan credits expire at each renewal; credits you buy separately never expire.
- Cancel at any time in the billing portal. Your plan ends at the end of the billing period.
- Plan fees and purchased credits aren't refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- AI assistants decide their own answers, so we can't guarantee that any of them will recommend you.
- You own your content. You let us process it, including sending it to AI providers, to run Ube for you.
- The law of England and Wales applies, and consumers keep their statutory rights.
Who we are
Ube is provided by Copium Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15778277. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Our VAT number is GB481094486.
"We", "us" and "our" mean Copium Labs Ltd. You can reach us at support@ube.digital.
What Ube does
Ube shows whether AI assistants recommend your product to people who have the problem it solves. You or your AI agent create discovery campaigns: questions a buyer would ask without naming your product. Ube sends those questions to AI engines, currently ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity through their APIs, and stores every answer. It then shows whether your product was recommended, who appeared instead, and what to change on your pages.
If you choose, Ube also checks your website and acts in the Cloudflare, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools accounts you connect.
Every feature works through the API, so an AI agent can run Ube for you. We may add, change or remove features, engines and models. If a change removes something important from your paid plan, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can, and you can cancel.
Your account and API tokens
- You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18.
- Your agent receives an API token after you approve its link. A token can do anything your account can do through the API, except pay or connect accounts, which need you to open a link.
- Keep your Google account and tokens secure. You're responsible for activity under your account, including the actions of agents you approve.
- Revoke any token you no longer need or think is exposed. If you think someone has misused your account, email support@ube.digital.
Plans, credits and payment
- Plans. Starter costs $30 a month and Pro costs $100 a month, charged in advance through Stripe. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
- Free trial. Starter and Pro start with a 7-day free trial that includes $5 of credit. We ask for a card when the trial starts and charge nothing during it. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. Otherwise we charge the plan's price on day 7 and add its credits, and any trial credit left expires. If the trial credit runs out sooner, new answers pause until you start the paid plan early, which you confirm with one click. Top-ups aren't available during a trial. Each account can have one trial.
- Plan credits. When a plan invoice is paid, we add credits equal to the amount paid for the plan: $30 a month on Starter and $100 a month on Pro. Unused plan credits expire when your next month's credits arrive, and when your plan ends.
- Changing plans. An upgrade starts at once. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period, and we add the amount paid as plan credits. A downgrade starts at your next renewal.
- Usage. Each completed answer is charged from your credits at that engine's price per answer. Your account and the API (
GET /v1/billing) show these prices before anything runs. Failed attempts are free. Answers use plan credits first, then purchased credits. - Top-ups. While you have a paid plan, you can buy $10, $25 or $50 of extra credits through Stripe Checkout. Purchased credits never expire, including when your plan renews or ends.
- Credits. Credits are held in US dollars, have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Enterprise. An Enterprise plan's price, credits and prices per answer are set in a contract with you. Where that contract differs from these terms, the contract applies.
- No credits left. When your credits reach zero, new answer collection pauses until you buy credits or upgrade. Work already running finishes and is charged to your credits.
- Price changes. Prices per answer can change. A new price applies only to answers collected after it appears in your account. We'll email you at least 30 days before a plan's monthly price changes, and the new price starts at your next renewal after that.
- Taxes. Prices are in US dollars. If tax applies, Stripe Checkout shows it before you pay.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it. Until it succeeds, we may pause new work on your account.
Stripe processes all payments. We never see your full card number.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in the Stripe billing portal. Open it from your account, or have your agent request a link with POST /v1/billing/portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep Ube until then, and we don't charge you again. Unused plan credits expire when your plan ends; purchased credits stay on your account.
Plan fees and purchased credits are non-refundable, including for part months and unused credits, except as this section describes or where the law requires a refund. Consumers have extra cancellation rights, described in Consumers.
If we close Ube, or close your account when you haven't broken these terms, we'll refund your unused purchased credits.
Acceptable use
You must not use Ube, or let an agent use it, to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- abuse the AI providers we use, for example by trying to get around their safety systems or usage policies, or by sending questions meant to produce illegal or harmful content;
- access, change or interfere with another customer's account, data, campaigns or results, or try to manipulate them;
- add websites or connect accounts that you don't own or aren't authorized to manage;
- create misleading content, such as fake reviews or false claims about other businesses;
- probe or test our security without our written permission, get around rate limits, billing or access controls, or put an unreasonable load on Ube;
- copy or reverse engineer Ube, except where the law allows it.
We may suspend access, or stop specific work, to prevent a breach of these rules or to protect Ube, our providers or others. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why first.
Your content
Your content is everything you or your agents give Ube: product details, website context, questions, settings and proposed page changes.
- You own your content.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process and send your content, only as needed to provide, secure and support Ube for you. This includes sending questions to AI engines and product details to Anthropic, as our Privacy policy describes. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
- You confirm that you have the right to give us your content, and that we may fetch and check the websites you add.
- We don't sell your content or use it to train AI models.
- We claim no ownership of the answers we collect for you. Some quote or summarize material that belongs to others, so respect those rights when you reuse it.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
AI answers and results
- AI engines decide their own answers. Answers change over time, can be wrong or incomplete, and can differ from what people see in the ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity apps.
- We don't guarantee that any AI assistant or search engine will recommend, mention, cite or rank your product, or that a page change will improve your results.
- Answers, results, comparisons and proposed page changes are provided as they are, for information. You decide what to publish, and you're responsible for the content on your website.
- Before-and-after results describe observed differences. They don't prove what caused them.
Connected accounts
When you connect Cloudflare, Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, you authorize us to act in that account within the permissions shown when you approve. We use that access only to verify your site, add DNS records, submit sitemaps, and read index and traffic data.
You can disconnect an account at any time, which deletes the stored access tokens. Those services run under their providers' own terms, and we aren't responsible for their availability or changes.
Availability and support
We work to keep Ube running, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, and outages or rate limits at our providers, can interrupt it. If an AI provider changes or withdraws its service, we may change or remove that engine.
For help, email support@ube.digital.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. The same goes for any other liability the law doesn't allow us to limit. Subject to that:
- We aren't liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you for all claims arising from these terms or Ube is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- Except as these terms state, we provide Ube "as is" and exclude implied terms and warranties, as far as the law allows.
If you're a consumer, this section applies only as far as consumer law allows.
Suspension and closing accounts
- You can stop using Ube at any time. Cancel your plan in the billing portal, and email privacy@ube.digital if you want your account and data deleted.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, or if the law or one of our providers requires it. Where we reasonably can, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
- We may stop offering Ube with at least 30 days' notice by email. If we do, we'll refund your unused purchased credits.
- When your account closes, your access ends and we delete your data as our Privacy policy describes. Until then, your agent can read your data through the API.
- Terms that by their nature should continue after an account closes, such as payments owed, liability and governing law, continue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect, unless it's needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect. Using Ube after that date means you accept the change. The date at the top shows the current version.
Consumers
Ube is built for businesses. If you use it as a consumer, outside your trade, business or profession:
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
- If you live in the UK or the EU, you can cancel your subscription or a top-up within 14 days of buying it by emailing support@ube.digital. If you asked us to start providing Ube within those 14 days, we refund what you paid minus the value of what you used.
- If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or an EU country, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. The mandatory consumer laws where you live still protect you.
General
- Governing law. These terms, and any dispute about them or Ube, including non-contractual disputes, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to Consumers.
- Whole agreement. These terms and our Privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Ube.
- Transfer. We may transfer this agreement to a business that takes over Ube, without reducing your rights under it. You need our written consent to transfer it.
- Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- No waiver. If we delay enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later.
- Third parties. No one else has rights under these terms.
- Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account. Send yours to support@ube.digital.
